This is a quick test for my new little documentaries project on personal living. It is mostly compounded by one second frames based on my everyday life in London. There are some frames that might be longer due to either my interest or sound duration reason. It is also a bit shaky because of the frames choice and unprofessional camera skills. This idea doing one-second frames video is inspired by a guy named Cesar Kuriyama who decided documenting his life in one second everyday to create an art-work which I found indeed very human and creative. Surely, a content arrangement would be a good option. However even without it, a combination of multiple one-second-frame is a brilliant idea itself, not only for its hybrid products of photo slide show and video but also within 1 second, you can both express a lot (24frames/s) and not too much make the framed objects over-exposed. The duration is just tight enough. The movement and the activeness of video is fascinating and working better for me rather than photos and I’m so glad to document everything that inspire me daily. The only pity I found in this way of expression is the absence of scent and feel of touch which seems to be hopeless to cover at the moment according to lack of technology. Despite of that, I’m still so happy I crossed by this guy Cesar. It is a great feeling when you can create something REAL, YOU and WORTH TO SHARE to everybody. And since we individuals experience a lot more than billions of different things every second, this type of visual products would be an endless creativity that enable us to share our life in a very kind and intimate way… P.S: I am so regretful I didn’t bring my camera yesterday when I saw a black crown greedily lovely pecked bunches of wild berries.
